Shipping & Returns
Effective 28 September 20261. Shipping quotation
The final quotation will state the artwork configuration, protective packing, carrier, insurance where available, estimated dispatch window and shipping charge. Delivery estimates begin after payment and, for custom work, after production is complete. They are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates.
2. Address, customs and import costs
The collector is responsible for providing a complete deliverable address and phone number. Import duties, VAT, brokerage fees and local taxes are normally the collector’s responsibility unless the written quotation expressly includes them. Customs inspection or destination-country delays are outside the studio’s direct control.
3. Packing and delivery
Works may be shipped stretched, framed or rolled only as agreed in the quotation. Please inspect the exterior packaging before signing where possible and keep all packaging until the work has been checked. A carrier may require a signature or collection from a local facility.
4. Transit damage
Visible loss or damage should be reported to the carrier and to sino_miles@foxmail.com as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Include the request or order reference, photographs of every side of the package, labels, internal packing and the artwork. Do not discard packaging or arrange repair before receiving instructions, as this may affect an insurance claim.
5. Returns
Return eligibility is confirmed in the final quotation and depends on the work, configuration and destination. Contact us before returning anything; unauthorised returns may be refused. Standard, non-personalised works may be eligible for return where required by applicable law, provided they are handled carefully and returned in the agreed condition and packaging.
6. Custom and made-to-order works
Commissioned, resized, personalised or specially framed works may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where the law permits. This exception is interpreted subject to mandatory local consumer law and does not apply to goods that arrive faulty, damaged or materially different from the agreed description.
7. Refunds and return transport
Where a return is accepted, instructions and the responsible party for insured return transport will be confirmed in writing. Approved refunds are made through the original agreed payment route after inspection, less only those amounts lawfully deductible. Mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.
